again
we are stuck
in the middle of the ocean
the pale face
of the oddly gleaming sea
with you by my
side i was sure we're gonna pull through easily
once again
we are struck
by the wrecked
ship of certainty
trying my best
to guess the waves
of your
frequency
recalling
memories we used to share as one team, half-heartedly
deepwater
sailing, horizon watching
we were
dauntless as we could be
pieces of
puzzle are floating relentlessly around me
to the heavily
cloudy sky i shouted questions
what's the use
of staying vigilant all night?
what's the use
of dropping hints?
what's the use
of riding the waves in sync?
what's the use
of it all
when we are
just two sailors
lost in a big
pool of hesitancy
oh, subtle
sparks of misery
holding loose
to each other's company
we are just
two lost sailors
trying to stay
afloat and find our true gravity
believing there's someone saner among us two, to say the least;
it's hardly you and most likely me
